The newly renovated apartment is on the third floor of a building that has a porter and an elevator, and is made up of four large bedrooms, three bathrooms, a charming terrace and a spacious eat-in kitchen equipped with every domestic appliance (fridge, cooker, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, drier and iron).
The MUSA logo:
The MUSA logo was created based on some of the more interesting buildings of the trendy, interesting and yet peaceful FLAMINIO district, where the accommodation is located.
Music: for music lovers, the National Auditorium is just a five-minute walk away; Sport: for those who want to watch sporting events at the Olympic Stadium (football, rugby, athletics), the Foro Italico tennis stadium (ATP masters tournament) or Palazzetto dello Sport (basketball); Art: for those who wish to explore Rome and its artistic masterpieces, being close to the MAXXI Museum, the Villa Giulia Etruscan Museum, the National Gallery of Modern Art, and Galleria Borghese.
The MUSA rooms follow the logo themes, and are inspired by the Flaminio district:
- The Music room, painted yellow, is decorated with photographs of the Auditorium "Parco della Musica), designed by architect Renzo Piano, and photographs of the "Ponte della Musica" (Music Bridge) on the Tiber river. Double bed or two singles plus bathroom.
- The two Sport rooms (which may be used together or not), are characterized by the colours turquoise and cherry, with photographs of the wonderful statues of the Stadium, and a design inspired by tennis, reminiscent of the sport complex. The main room has a double bed (or two singles); the adjacent room has a single bed and a comfortable sofa-bed (also single). The rooms share one bathroom.
- In the Art room and entrance there are photographs taken inside MAXXI, the XXI century contemporary art museum designed by architect Zaha Hadid, which is within walking distance of the apartment. It is a suite with turquoise walls, a double bed (or two singles), plus an antechamber and bathroom.
The three modern bathrooms, all with showers, are attractively decorated in a contemporary style, with touches of colour matching the doors.
The apartment building is located in the centre of the Flaminio district halfway between Piazza del Popolo (a few minutes away by tram) and Ponte Milvio, the only ancient Roman bridge still in use. The district is bordered by the River Tiber (that can be crossed via the Ponte della Musica or “Music Bridge” to reach the Foro Italico sporting complex) and, in the other direction, by Villa Borghese, the most beautiful park in Rome, where the famous museum Galleria Borghese is located.
In recent years, the Flaminio district has undergone a cultural rebirth, mainly driven by art and music. This led to the opening of numerous new cafes, bars, restaurants and clubs, creating a lively night life patronised by locals even more than tourists.
