Holidays ad Hoc

Welcome to Holidays ad Hoc Traveler’s Blog

Hi! My name is Roberto and I am the founder of Holidays ad Hoc.

I am 30 years old and I am a passionate traveler. I started traveling when I was 16 and, since then, I never stopped. Some people say traveling is a passion; I say traveling is life!

Traveling to me means exploring, appreciating, learning, getting inspired and… experiencing local cultures. In other words: meeting local people and sharing with them a life experience!

There are many ways to travel… and I am happy and glad to be able to share mine through Holidays ad Hoc and its Traveler’s Blog.

What is Holidays ad Hoc?

Holidays ad Hoc is an international Community of like-minded, passionate and socially conscious travelers and hosts, who believe in the potential to harness the rapid growth of the tourism industry into a vehicle of local development.

It is a project I recently started with the help of my fiancé, Maricelle (another tireless traveler). Maricelle and I have traveled the world together and have always looked for real experiences; those that can make you come back home enriched and satisfied, for what you have learnt, the places you have visited and the people you have met.

Holidays ad Hoc is a communication platform that selects and offers Accommodations and Activities based on their quality owned and run by local people or local companies with the aim of:

– offering a direct channel for travelers to design their own unforgettable travel experience;

– breaking down the barrier between travel (exploration) and vacation (relaxation);

– transforming the necessities and interests of travelers into an engine of growth and development of local economies.

Why a Traveler’s Blog?

We believe that sharing travel experiences can be a potential tool to involve every day more travelers and make them join our virtuous circle of traveling while supporting local economies.

This Traveler’s Blog is for anybody (travelers, hosts, activity suppliers) who wants to share his/her story, inspire new users, provide ideas of improvement to Property Owners and Activity Suppliers, and suggest us (of the Holidays ad Hoc team) new Accommodations and/or new Activities that deserve to be promoted on HaH website.

We look forward to involving more and more travelers and hosts every day.
